With the flood of advancement in every field a human can go, especially if it comes to saving a human’s life, engineers, scientists and doctors worked 24*7 for the betterment and brought something which was a quite necessary step towards safety, one of the hundreds of them is the invention and execution of airbags in the cars before its invention many of precious lives of people were wracked due to accidental and voluntary car crashes.

Airbag works on the very simple scientific principle in which a current is generated through a sensor upon a crash which initiates a chemical reaction in which the main product is nitrogen which is the gas in the airbags. All this process is executed within parts of a millisecond. All this process is done by an instrument called airbag module.

Airbag is the most important safety instrument in your vehicle, which is then deployed by an airbag module which makes sure that the airbag is working properly. Suppose you are going for trip to somewhere and you family, and sitting with you in your vehicle and suddenly a truck or a massive vehicle goes out of control driven a drunk driver and just hits your car and a few days back you saw a red LED blinking on you car’s dashboard and shows you that you car’s airbag module has just go malfunction, now think if you didn’t do something to get this done your life and you family’s life would be on the line.

Airbag module is a simple device which is connected with you car’s battery and being and electronic device it could get malfunction but why bother changing it, if it could have a reset. The only thing which notifies you about the problem which has occurred is a light that blinks on the dash board. There is a very simple solution to this problem is that get your car to a good car mechanic and get the job done if you don’t know how to reset and assemble the airbag module. Air bag module is also a computer which shows the details of the past crashes (if occurred any) and other necessary information like airbag functioning, airbags code which is unique for every vehicle. Resetting airbag module is not so difficult for an expert but could be disastrous for the new hand.

Airbag module is also called a diagnostic unit and it has certain parts including diagnostic sensors which is placed in quite a different parts of your car, but different cars producing companies locate the unit and the sensor to different parts of the car for example it is not necessary that the sensor and unit which is located in a Toyota must be at the same place in a Nissan car. Resetting a diagnostic unit is not so much costly and there are a lot of shops in the market which offers high quality work in normal price range so please don’t play with you life and your passenger’s lives.
